Now, I can feel that the demons are there,
As the hate becomes more than I can bear.
But why is this happening? For I can hold them at bay,
And pretend that they do not sit awaiting the day.
Not this time, though, as they continue to feed within,
Replacing my stolen sole with the darkness of sin.
Am I going completely mad?!
Or am I just overly sad?
But the conversion of my spirit will not happen tonight,
So I might as well give into the end without a fight.
