Those things chased me through the darkened woods,
I could see nothing as they hid beneath their hoods.
I could do nothing, as I cried out in fear,
Knowing too well that those evil creatures were near.
Seeing the clearing from the forest, could I go faster?
And would I be safe from this horrible disaster?

I looked over my shoulder and they would be nowhere in sight,
The only thing I could see were several bats which were in flight.
Turning my attention to the path ahead,
There they were: a group of the undead.

Collapsing to the ground, I knew all was lost.
These monsters would track me down, no matter the cost.
And before I knew it, I was surrounded with nowhere to go.
All I could do was to sit there in my self imposed woe.
