Dreamer
By: Ellen Lynch
Did you take the time today,
To let your mind get far away?
Take the path you shouldn't take;
Don't rationalize or hesitate.
Go there now to fill your soul,
And get the things that make you whole.
No one gets to make the rules--
In your mind you hold the tools.
To live your dreams the way you will,
To make the world and time stand still.

Ellen Lynch is a single mother who writes poetry in an attempt to set
free her emotions. In verse she is able to speak of the heartache, loss
and pain she has experienced in recent years. Her poems are frequently
thought provoking and although often melancholy in nature, she still manages
