Werewolf
By: Kevin Magnus

He rushed to be home before first sight of the moon,
Since he knew his transformation now would come soon.
As he ran through the park, his insides began turning;
The pain became intense, as if he were burning.
Now he was only a few blocks from home;
His skin began to bleed and his mouth to foam.
Then he dropped to his knees and quickly blacked out,
And when he came to he had fangs and a snout.
He ripped through anyone who got in his way,
A bloody trail showed where his victims now lay.
He announced his arrival with a wicked tune;
A spine chilling howl let out at the moon.
In the end he was killed while trapped on a roof,
Some thought it an animal, but I said, Werewolf!
