Welcome, welcome one and all! Welcome back to The World of Myth magazine! For those of you that are familiar with what happens here, you will be pleasantly surprised that after the hiatus we hit the ground running! For everyone else that is just now being exposed to The World of Myth, you are in for a treat! It all starts with our Publisher David K. Montoya and his vision of creators from around the world showcasing their talents within theses pages. To start everything off, author Jodi Perkins gives us a peek inside the possible future, "Thirst." Poet Randolph R. Lofgren has consented to be interviewed this month by our own, Myth Master. L. Alan Russo returns with a new horror story, "You Can't Kill Me," while the first chapter of "Through the Eyes of Madness" is presented, by David K. Montoya. In the Science Fiction section, our Featured Author and newcomer, Walter G. Esselman gives us part one of "Glory and Reach." S. Sadie Burbank makes her return to our magazine with a story of a unwanted pest in, "SCURRY." Finishing out the story section, for our humor selection, Jezzy Wolfe serves up a dark comedy titled, "Love Me, Love My Alpaca," and I offer up a tale of the mighty God of Thunder in, "Thor Goes Fishing." In the Poetry Corner, Randolph R. Lofgren, David K. Montoya (and dishes up a heartfelt commentary), Kevin Magnus and Kevin Adams all return with new poems. And, we have a birthday to mention this month. Jesse Lindsay's birthday was December 14th, Happy Birthday to you from all of us here at "The World of Myth." The Art Gallery hosts work by "Birthday Boy" Jesse Lindsay, Rebecca Ilich and, newcomer, Dan Moran this month! In our new Book Review section, we offer a couple reviews, first of the book by Kevin Smith, "Tough Sh*t," and AJ Mendez Brooks' "Crazy Is My Super Power." Movie Goer Grim makes a come back, to aid new comers Samantha Van Zetten and Jason Bechard in going over a five or so movies! Afterwards, be sure to drop by the aptly renamed Video Game Review and check out Xilera examination of Doom/ for the Nintendo Switch. Also, since artwork is frequently published in our magazine, we're experimenting with a new Art Review column in this issue, with fantastic articles by Kaitlin Baki and Cassidy Kent. Also, notice that we've returned the Contributor's Corner (AKA Author Search) function and the Archives for stories, poems, art, and columns. It has been a labor of love to get this magazine back on the launch pad and we here look forward to presenting the best articles, short and long stories and art we can find. I want to personally thank Mr. Montoya for giving me this opportunity to flex some new muscles and discover new skills as a rookie editor, Mr. Montoya's faith and trust in me to help make his vision a reality is humbling and terrifying all at the same time! I will do my utmost best to find fresh, compelling stories, articles and creators to make this magazine the best one out there. So, with no further ado, let me welcome you to the next chapter in The World of Myth! Mike Lutz
