I found what I was looking for; posted on the far wall was a complete map of the school. It outlined where all of the emergency exits were located, as well as all of the rooms in the building. I stepped closer and examined the map. This room was in the East wing; the lobby was right beneath us. Richard said that he thought that was the item the Unlucky was trying to hide. The idea of those monsters having the ability of intelligent thought was horrifying to me. He reminded me of the hybrid species. No one knew for sure what kind of mental status those creatures had.

I pulled the map off the wall and carefully folded it up, so as not to damage it. After slipping the map into one of my pockets, I returned to my search for the keys. Once my brother realized that I had left him, he ran from the classroom and quickly caught up with me. We had only walked a few feet when we heard a woman's scream. I immediately recognized it as Rene!
